Common use of No Approval Clause in Contracts

No Approval. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to constitute regulatory or scientific approval of the use of any particular product or technology. The Cooperator agrees that (a) nothing in this Agreement relieves it of any obligation to comply with applicable federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or requirements, and (b) possession or acquisition by the Laboratory of Subject Data, or other information generated or otherwise acquired pursuant to performance of work under this Agreement, does not constitute knowledge of or possession or receipt of such data or information by or on behalf of the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency for purposes of statutory or regulatory reporting requirements such as, but not limited to, Section 8 of the Toxic Substances Control Act.
