No Commencement Without Insurance. The Developer shall not commence operations on the Project or elsewhere prior to the effective date of insurance and bonds. The date of commencement of the Work shall not be changed by the effective date of such insurance. If Developer commences Work without insurance and bonds, all Work is performed at Developer’s peril and shall not be compensable until and unless Developer secures bonds and insurance pursuant to the terms of the Contract Documents and subject to District claim for damages.
