Common use of Notice for Permanent Employees Clause in Contracts

Notice for Permanent Employees. Except in the case of dismissal for just cause, thirty (30) calendar days notice in writing shall be given to an employee whose services are to be terminated, provided that if such notice is not given, a sum equal to one (1) months salary shall be paid to such an employee in lieu of notice. Earned vacation leave due an employee shall not be used as any part of the period of notice.
