Notice to Parents. NOTICE: Students from this development may have to attend existing schools. Although a school sites has been reserved within this community, a school may not be constructed for some time, if at all, and then only if the Ministry of Education authorizes funding and the construction of the required school.

Notice to Parents. In providing Notice to Parents as required where the Unsuitable Person has been arrested, charged or convicted for a sexual offence or an offence of indecency (but not where the Unsuitable Person is merely the subject of an allegation) the Hirer must:
9.12.1 consult with South Australia Police regarding the timing and content of the Notice to Parents and comply with any directions of South Australia Police in this regard
9.12.2 if the Risk Assessment gives rise to a reasonable suspicion that there are no other potential victims, then subject to any contrary directions from South Australia Police, promptly send a letter to the parents, guardians and primary carers of all Relevant Children containing the following:
(a) a statement that an unnamed Unsuitable Person involved in the Relevant Activity has been arrested, charged or convicted for committing an offence
(b) a statement of the offence to which the arrest, charge or conviction relates
(c) a statement that the unnamed Unsuitable Person has been removed from involvement in the Relevant Activity and cannot attend the Minister’s Site
(d) a statement indicating that the Hirer does not believe that there are other victims
(e) an assurance that the Hirer will keep parents, guardians and primary carers of the Relevant Children informed
(f) a request to keep the matter confidential in order to protect the victim and the victim’s family
(g) contact numbers of support services for concerned parents, guardians and primary carers
(h) a statement that parents, guardians and primary carers who have information that might assist police should contact the investigating police officer, giving that police officer’s name, rank and telephone number
9.12.3 if the Risk Assessment gives rise to a reasonable suspicion that there are or may be other potential victims (“Other Potential Victims”) then subject to any contrary directions from South Australia Police:
(a) promptly send a letter to the parents, guardians and primary carers of those Other Potential Victims containing the following:
i. a statement that an unnamed Unsuitable Person involved in the Relevant Activity has been arrested, charged or convicted for committing an offence ii. a statement of the offence to which the arrest, charge or conviction relates
Notice to Parents. The teacher or principal/designee must notify the student's parents regarding the classroom exclusion as soon as reasonably possible. This notification is in a language the parents understand. In the event the student’s parents have not already been notified, who will provide this notice will be discussed when the teacher and principal/designee confer about the incident.
Notice to Parents. The District currently publishes its Student Code of Conduct (Code) and distributes the current version in hard copy to every student at the beginning of the school year. The Code is also published on the District’s website. At the beginning of each school year, students are asked to discuss the Code with their parents, and students and parents are expected to provide a written acknowledgment that they have received a copy of the Code and will abide by it. The District will continue this practice of notification to students and parents. The District currently publishes a “dashboard” on its website that displays the most frequent reasons for referrals for discipline. The current dashboard runs on a platform that all schools use to store student records, including all instances of discipline. The District will modify the dashboard to provide discipline data disaggregated by race, ethnicity, sex, disability, English Language Learner (ELL) status, and by school. Said data shall include: Referrals for discipline; Suspensions;
Notice to Parents. Licensee’s notice and request for parental consent shall provide all information contained in its Privacy Statement. The notice also shall inform parents that the Licensee wants to collect Personal Information from the child, and cannot do so without parent al consent. In addition, the request must indicate how the parent can consent to the collection and use of Personal Information from a child, without consenting to the disclosure of the information to third parties, if the parent so chooses. Mechanisms to provide notice include, but are not limited to, sending the notice to the parent’s email address or sending the notice by postal mail.

The District will, annually, provide written notice (Notice) to all parents of all District students: • Title VI prohibits the District and School from discriminating based on race, color, or national origin in its programs and activities; • employee-on-student racial harassment is prohibited; • student-on-student racial harassment that creates a hostile environment is prohibited; and • the District and School must respond appropriately to reports of harassment, including harassment based on race, color, or national origin, and determine if a hostile environment exists. The Notice will include: • reference to relevant District policies and procedures; • examples of possible harassing conducting, including, at a minimum, offensive touching, jokes, name-calling, slurs, gestures, and symbols; • all ways that racial harassment can be reported to the District and School (e.g., the Online Form or Report Form); • the name, job title, phone number, and email address for a District central office administrator who is available and qualified to respond to questions or concerns related to harassment based on race or national origin; and • information about and contact information for OCR. The Notice will be provided, at a minimum, via: • the homepage of the District’s and each school’s website; • email to all parents of District students; • hard copy sent home with all District students; and • any social media for the District and its schools.

Applications To advise parents to complete the application and return it or submit the Direct Certification letter received from the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance to the reviewing official for eligibility determination. Such applications, direct certification letters, and documentation of action taken, will be maintained for three years plus the current year after the end of the school year to which they pertain. To accept applications at any time during the year and to supply applications to any parent enrolling a child in a school for the first time. To accept the eligibility of a child who transfers from one school to another under the jurisdiction of the SFA.
