Notification of New Employment Clause Samples

The Notification of New Employment clause requires an individual, typically an employee or contractor, to inform their current or former employer when they accept a new job or engagement. In practice, this clause may specify a timeframe within which the notification must be made and may require details about the new employer or position, especially if there are concerns about conflicts of interest or restrictive covenants such as non-compete agreements. Its core function is to help the employer monitor compliance with post-employment obligations and manage potential risks related to confidential information or competition.
