Common use of Notification of Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Notification of Superintendent. If absence due to the illness of a member of the employee’s immediate family can be foreseen in advance of its occurrence and is likely to number a period of ten (10) or more days, then the employee shall give written notice thereof to the Superintendent of Schools or designee. The employee shall also submit a physician’s statement substantiating such illness.
