Notification of Union Coverage. When a person is hired in any classification represented by the Union, the City will notify that person that SEIU Local 521 is the recognized bargaining representative for the workers in said unit. A shop xxxxxxx or Union representative will have time during new employee orientation to meet with each new employee during work time to provide that person with a copy of the current contract.
