Objective and Obligations of the Parties. 15.1.1 The District and the Association will cooperate in the objective of eliminating accidents and health hazards. 15.1.2 The District shall make reasonable provisions for the safety and health of its unit members during the hours of the unit member’s employment, in accordance with the conditions now prevailing in each separate school. 15.1.3 To carry out this intent, the District, the Association, and the unit members recognize their obligations and/or rights under existing federal and state and local laws with respect to safety and health matters.
