Common use of O.M.E.R.S. Pension Plan Clause in Contracts

O.M.E.R.S. Pension Plan. Every eligible employee shall join the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (O.M.E.R.S.) pension plan as a condition of employment in accordance to the Plan.

It is a condition of employment in accordance with the Employer that each full-time employee become a member of O.M.E.R.S., contributing payment as required by the system through payroll deduction. The Employer will contribute an equal amount to the Planfund to aid in providing a retirement pension.
