On-Call Pay. 12.6.2.1 The transportation department will pay a minimum of one (1) hour pay at the overtime rate when job requirements are such that an employee needs to be on call. 12.6.2.2 The facilities department rotates the classified employees to be on call for one (1) week periods. The compensation for being on call is three (3) hours of compensatory time taken on the Friday of starting the employee’s on call period. The compensatory time may be taken at other times as job demands require.
