ON CALL RELIEF EMPLOYEES. If an on call relief employee obtains a route holder or permanent relief position, his or her seniority date shall be deemed retroactive to the first date of hire as an on call relief employee subject to the following: (a) any period greater than nine and one half (9.5) months during which an employee was not in the employ of the Corporation shall constitute a break in seniority.
