Opt-Out Program. Regular, full-time employees who are eligible for the Township's health insurance shall be entitled to participate in an Employer-sponsored opt-out program. Employees are required to show that they have bona fide health care coverage elsewhere that includes the employee (from other than Pittsfield Charter Township) before said employee will be eligible to participate in the opt-out program. A participating employee will be entitled to accrue an annual payment of $3,000 which shall be divided equally among the monthly billing periods during which said health care insurance coverage was not provided by the Township under the conditions set forth herein.
Opt-Out Program. To the extent the Employer offers a medical insurance opt-out program to other non-represented City employees generally, such program shall be made available to bargaining unit employees at the same time and on the same terms.
