Common use of Organization of Study Clause in Contracts

Organization of Study. 1. Length of the study programme referred to in Art. II para. 1 this Contract without interruption of study is 12 semesters, i.e. 6 years. 2. Enrollment in individual years is usually made in September of the respective academic year, with the exact term being determined in accordance with the curriculum by the Xxxx of UPJŠ LF. Before enrolling for the study, the student is required to show proof of payment of the first installment of the payment in the relevant academic year. In case the student fails to pay the first installment of the payment, UPJŠ LF is not obliged to enroll them for the study at UPJŠ LF. 3. In general, the academic year lasts from September to August the following year. The academic year is divided into two semesters, a winter semester and a summer semester, the winter semester lasting from September to February, and the summer semester from February to August. The exact start and end dates and the semesters of the academic year shall be determined by the Xxxx of UPJŠ LF in accordance with the Study Rules. 4. During the course of study, the student is obliged to inform themselves on the conditions and terms of study, examinations, to familiarize themselves with the internal regulations of UPJŠ LF affecting them, in particular with the Study Rules of UPJŠ LF and is obliged to observe these. 5. University education studies at UPJŠ LF ends up by passing the examinations, to which the student is admitted, if the student has fulfilled all the conditions as laid down by the legislation of the Slovak Republic and the internal regulations of UPJŠ and UPJŠ LF. 6. After the successful completion of the university course of study, the Faculty will issue to the student a degree diploma and all the documents according to the Law Act on Higher Education.
