OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. This Contract is subject to all applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, ordinances, and regulations in effect at the date of this Contract or which may, from time to time, be adopted, and which do not impair the obligations of this Contract and which do not deprive the Purchaser of an existing property right recognized by law. A violation by the Purchaser of any federal, state, county, and/or municipal laws, ordinances and/or regulations while conducting operations under the terms of this Contract, shall, in the discretion of the State, constitute sufficient reason for the suspension or termination of this Contract. If any part of the lands or premises under this Contract are used or allowed or permitted to be used for any purpose contrary to the laws of this state or the United States, such unlawful use shall, in the discretion of the State, constitute sufficient reason for the suspension or termination of this Contract.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Each party agrees that it will not, by act or omission, violate any applicable law or regulation of the United States or any political subdivision thereof where the violation thereof would result in the other party being deemed to be in violation of such law or regulation or would otherwise result in a criminal or an un-indemnified civil penalty on the part of such other party.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. All other regulations promulgated pursuant to said foregoing laws or any amendments or replacement thereof, provided such amendments or replacements shall in no way limit the original scope and/or definition of Hazardous Materials defined herein as of the execution date of this Lease.

The term “Hazardous Materials” includes, without limitation, any material or substance which is (a) defined or listed as a “hazardous waste”, “extremely hazardous waste”, “restrictive hazardous waste” or “hazardous substance” or considered a waste, condition of pollution or nuisance under the Environmental Laws; (b) petroleum or a petroleum product or fraction thereof; (c) asbestos; (d) polychlorinated bipheny; (e) flammable explosives; (f) urea formaldehyde; and/or (g) substances known by the State of California to cause cancer and/or reproductive toxicity. It is the intent of the parties hereto construe the terms “Hazardous Materials” and “Environmental Laws” in their broadest sense. Tenant shall provide prompt written notice to Landlord of the existence of Hazardous Materials on the Premises and all notices of violation of the Environmental Laws received by Tenant. Tenant shall not bring onto, create or dispose of, in or about the Premises or the Project, including but not limited to its sewage or storm drain systems, any Hazardous Materials.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. In performing its obligations under this Agreement, VGX shall comply with all applicable environmental and health and safety laws. VGX shall be solely responsible for determining how to carry out these obligations.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. In carrying out its obligations under this Agreement, APC shall comply with all applicable environmental and health and safety laws, and, except as set forth in this Agreement, APC shall be solely responsible for determining how to carry out these obligations.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Nonprofit Provider will comply with any and all applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, laws, statutes and ordinances including those regarding toxic, hazardous and solid wastes and any pollutants; public and private nuisances; health or safety; and zoning, subdivision or other land use controls. Nonprofit Provider must maintain incorporated status as a nonprofit organization in the State of North Carolina and tax- exempt status under IRS Code 501(c)(3). Nonprofit Provider specifically acknowledges and agrees that Nonprofit Provider, and any subcontractors it uses, has complied with and shall continue to comply with the provisions of the federal E-Verify program in compliance with Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Nonprofit Provider shall maintain adequate safeguards with respect to sensitive customer information in conformance with and pursuant to 16 C.F.R. §681.1 and in accordance with N.C. Gen. Stat. §132-1.10 and §75-65.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. The DEVELOPER covenants and agrees with the CITY that, in addition to complying with the federal laws and regulations already cited in this Agreement, the DEVELOPER has reviewed, and shall comply with and require all its contractors and subcontractors on the Project to comply with, all other state laws and regulations that apply to the ERF, including, without limitation the following:
A. The Project is not located in a tract identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency as having special flood requirements.
B. The DEVELOPER and its contractors, subcontractors and service providers for the Project, shall comply with all applicable local, State and federal requirements concerning equal employment opportunity, including compliance with Executive Order (E.O.) 11246, “Equal Employment Opportunity”, as amended by E.O. 11375, (amending E.O. 11246 Relating to Equal Employment Opportunity), and as supplemented by regulations at 41 CFR chapter 60, “Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Equal Employment Opportunity, Department of Labor”.
C. The provisions of the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 (42 U.S.C. 701), in accordance with the Act and with ’UD's rules at 24 CFR part 24, subpart F.
D. Title 8 of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 PL. 90-284.
E. The Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
F. Clean Water Requirements 33 U.S.C. 1251. G. Civil Rights Requirements, 29 U.S.C. 623, 42 U.S.C. 2000, 42 U.S.C. 6102, 42 U.S.C 12112, 42 U.S.C. 12132, 49 U.S.C 5332, 29 C.F.R. Part 1630, 41 C.F.R. and Part 60 et seq.
OTHER LAWS AND REGULATIONS. The provisions of this Policy shall apply in addition to and shall be subordinated to any requirements imposed by applicable state, local laws or regulations. Unenforceable provisions of this Policy shall be deemed to be deleted. All employees shall participate in a NLTFPD-sponsored alcohol and drug awareness program. The program shall provide employees with information regarding NLTFPD’s Drug and Alcohol Policy.
