Overdrafts and Overdraft Protection. An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough Available Balance in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. You agree to maintain available funds in your account at all times sufficient to pay any withdrawal order (whether verbal, written, or otherwise) or item presented for payment against the account.
