Common use of Overnight Lodging Clause in Contracts

Overnight Lodging. The Employer shall provide clean and safe overnight lodging and reasonable transportation for after- hours use while employees are assigned to locations other than their home location. Absent agreement, drivers shall not be required to chaperone passengers outside the bus. Drivers shall not be compelled to share a hotel room. The Employer shall make lodging and transportation arrangements in advance. Per Diem: The Company will use its best effort to provide each employee his/her locally negotiated per diem prior to leaving for a trip.
