– OVERTIME AND ON-CALL. 16.01 The Employer may require an employee to work in excess of an employee’s normally scheduled hours according to the needs and operating requirements of the Employer. 16.02 An employee shall be paid at a rate equal to 1 ½ times the employee’s regular rate of pay, unless the employee elects otherwise in accordance with Article 16.03 as follows: (a) if the employee is not working a modified schedule, for all hours required to be worked in excess of 40 hours per week; (b) if the employee is working a modified schedule, for all hours required to be worked in excess of 40 multiplied by the number of weeks in the modified schedule.
