OVERTIME AND PREMIUM PAYMENTS. 22.01 (a) All time worked in excess of a seventy-five (75) hour fortnight shall be considered overtime. Overtime shall be subject to the following conditions:
i) Any work assigned by the Employer to a part-time nurse in excess of seven and one half (7½) hours or four-hundred fifty (450) minutes or thirty (30) units per tour will be considered overtime subject to premium payment.
ii) Notwithstanding the above, given the ability to flex start and finish times and length of work day according to client/caseload needs, nurses may choose to work longer than seven and one half (7½) hours or four-hundred fifty (450) minutes or thirty (30) units per tour. Such choice shall not be considered overtime.
iii) Time up to and including fifteen (15) minutes shall not be counted.
OVERTIME AND PREMIUM PAYMENTS. 13.01 The regular straight time hourly rate of pay is that hourly rate prescribed in the wage schedule of the collective agreement.

OVERTIME AND PREMIUM PAYMENTS. 16.01 (a) All time worked in excess of seventy-five (75) hours in a two week pay period shall be considered overtime. Overtime shall be subject to the following conditions:
i) Any work assigned by the Employer to a part-time nurse in excess of seven and one-half (7½) hours per shift will be considered overtime and subject to premium pay;
ii) Notwithstanding the above, a nurse will have the ability to adjust the approved start and finish times according to client/caseload needs, with the approval of the Manager. Such approval by the Manager will not extend beyond the seven and one half (7½) hour work day. Such adjustments will not result in any entitlement to premiums.
iii) Time up to and including fifteen (15) minutes shall not be counted as premium time.
iv) Flex time will not exceed sixty (60) minutes on any shift. Time worked beyond eight and one half (8.5) hours will be considered overtime.

OVERTIME AND PREMIUM PAYMENTS. (a) Whenever the Company is unable to satisfy the weekly work schedule notice requirements as stipulated in Section 2 of this Article, then the
(b) Time and one-half (1-1/2) shall be paid for time worked over eight (8) hours per workday.
(c) Time and one-half (1-1/2) shall be paid for all hours worked over forty (40) hours per workweek.
(d) Time and one-half shall be paid for all hours on the sixth day in the work week or on the first scheduled off-duty day, whichever is applicable.
(e) Double time shall be paid for all hours worked on the seventh day in the work week or on the second off- duty day, whichever is applicable.
(f) Double time shall be paid for all hours worked on the applicable holidays recognized under this Agreement
(g) Double time shall be paid for all hours worked over twelve (12) hours in any continuous work period.
(h) Wage payments at overtime or premium rates shall not be pyramided for the same hours worked, and hours for which compensation is paid at the overtime or premium rates under one provision hereof shall not be construed as hours worked for making payments under any other provision hereof.
(i) Any other provision of this Agreement to the contrary notwithstanding it is the intent of the Company and Union that employees who are scheduled to work overtime shall be expected to work the overtime required provided, however, that if an employee has a justifiable reason, which is acceptable to the
(j) A workweek will not break a workday to prevent overtime except for those employees assigned to shift number one.
(k) Should an employee be scheduled to work and works on a non-overtime day which begins earlier than twenty four (24) hours from the starting time of the prior non-overtime work day, the employee shall receive time and one-half (1-1/2) for such hours that precede the time which is twenty four (24) hours from the starting time of the prior daily work schedule, providing he worked eight (8) hours in that twenty four (24) hour period.
(l) When employees are traveling on company business or for training and their travel schedule exceeds their regular work schedule, the maximum paid travel time in any day is eight (8) hours. The employees will be paid the applicable overtime rate.

(b) Effective April 1, 1998, where a nurse works overtime as set out above, the nurse shall be paid either one and one-half (1½) times the nurse’s straight time hourly rate for the overtime worked, or compensatory time off (where applicable) at one and one-half (1½) times in lieu. At the beginning of each quarter, the nurse will indicate in writing her choice of compensation for overtime worked or time off in lieu of payment. Overtime premium shall not be duplicated for the same hours worked, nor shall overtime be pyramided with any other premiums payable.
