Paid Lunch Period. 9-1 All police officers will be given a 30-minute paid lunch period in an eight- (8) or ten- (10) hour Work Day, subject to calls for service and as work load permits. 9-2 Unless otherwise approved by the police officer’s supervisor, the lunch period shall not be taken within the first two hours of the police officer’s shift, nor shall it be taken later than five hours into the police officer’s shift.
