Common use of Paid Tea Breaks Clause in Contracts

Paid Tea Breaks. 22.2.1 Every Employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each 4 hours worked at a time to be agreed between the Employer and Employee. For the avoidance of doubt where an Employee is engaged to work 8 hours or more, the Employee will be entitled to two (2) 10 minute tea breaks in total. 22.2.2 Subject to agreement between the Employer and Employee, such breaks may be taken as one 20 minute tea break. 22.2.3 Tea breaks will be counted as time worked.

Paid Tea Breaks. 22.2.1 Every Employee 43.1 Where 5 hours or more are worked on a shift, Employees will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each 4 hours worked at a time to be agreed between the Employer and Employee. For the avoidance of doubt where an Employee is engaged to work 8 hours or more, the Employee will be entitled to allowed two (2) 10 10-minute tea breaks in total(the first tea break being taken within the first four hours worked). 22.2.2 43.2 Where less than 5 hours are worked on a shift, Employees will be allowed one 10-minute tea break. 43.3 Subject to agreement between the Employer Xxxxxxxx and Employeeemployee, such two 10-minute tea breaks may be taken as one 20 20-minute tea break. 22.2.3 43.4 Tea breaks will be counted count as time worked.

For the avoidance of doubt where an Employee is engaged to work 8 hours or more, the Employee will be entitled to two (2) 10 minute tea breaks in total. 22.2.2 Subject to agreement between the Employer and Employee, such breaks may be taken as one 20 minute tea break. 22.2.3 72.3 Tea breaks will be counted as time worked.
