Pallbearer Leave One-half (½) day leave without loss of pay may be granted to an employee to attend a funeral as a pallbearer plus travelling time if necessary. Total leave is not to exceed one (1) day without loss of pay.
Labor Management Meetings Section 1. To promote communication and problem resolution between the City and the membership of the union, the Human Resources Director, and other representatives determined appropriate by the City may meet quarterly with the Executive Officers of the Union and other representatives that would be useful to discuss or resolve current issues.
Labor/Management Meeting Any other concerns, not specifically covered herein regarding health and/or safety factors shall be addressed through the county-level Labor Management Committee meetings, Article Thirty, Section G.
Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.
Faculty Development Faculty who develop and/or teach Distance Education courses shall be provided with reasonable technical support and opportunities for Faculty development, consistent with the needs of the Faculty and availability of Board resources and services for that purpose. In the event that a Faculty member develops and/or teaches a Distance Education course for the first time, the Faculty member shall receive reasonable and appropriate professional development and technical support assistance, consistent with the needs of the Faculty and availability of Board resources and services for that purpose. In instances of succeeding assignments to teach Distance Education courses, the Faculty member is expected to demonstrate a level of technical competence sufficient to teach the course. Ongoing technical support assistance may be available to Faculty who teach succeeding offerings of the same course.
Teaching Staff Assigned to More Than One Building Each Educator who is assigned to more than one building will be evaluated by the appropriate administrator where the individual is assigned most of the time. The principal of each building in which the Educator serves must review and sign the evaluation, and may add written comments. In cases where there is no predominate assignment, the superintendent will determine who the primary evaluator will be.
TECHNOLOGY/KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ACTIVITIES The goal of this task is to develop a plan to make the knowledge gained, experimental results, and lessons learned available to the public and key decision makers. The Recipient shall: • Prepare an Initial Fact Sheet at start of the project that describes the project. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Final Project Fact Sheet at the project’s conclusion that discusses results. Occupational Health County and Union agree that the maintenance of employees' physical health is a basic component of satisfactory work performance, that an ongoing program of medical examination and review of medical conditions as it relates to performance of assigned duties will be developed, and that the parties shall meet and confer on development of this program and endeavor to reach agreement during the term of this Agreement.
