Common use of Parental Leave for Spouse Clause in Contracts

Parental Leave for Spouse. The parental leave for an Employee who becomes a parent of one or more children through the birth of the child or children, other than a parent for whom provision is made in 21.1: (i) shall begin on such date coinciding with or after the birth of the child as the Employee determines; and (ii) shall end not later than fifty-two (52) weeks after the parental leave began and in any case, no later than fifty-two (52) weeks after the child or children first arrive in the Employee’s home.

The parental leave for an Employee employee who becomes a parent of one or more children through the birth of the child or children, other than a parent for whom provision is made in 21.1:23.08(c): (i) shall begin on such date coinciding with or after the birth of the child as the Employee determines; employee determines and; (ii) shall end not later than fifty-two (52) weeks after the parental leave began and in any case, no later than fifty-two (52) weeks after the child or children first arrive in the Employee’s employee's home.
