Participant Committee Sample Clauses
The Participant Committee clause establishes a group composed of representatives from the parties involved in an agreement, tasked with overseeing certain aspects of the contract's implementation or ongoing management. Typically, this committee may be responsible for making joint decisions, resolving disputes, or providing guidance on operational matters related to the agreement. By formalizing a collaborative decision-making body, the clause ensures that all parties have a structured forum for communication and input, thereby promoting transparency and effective coordination throughout the contract's duration.
Participant Committee. The Board shall appoint an Exchange participation committee (“Participant Committee”), which shall be composed of at least 35% Public Directors. The Participant Committee shall have those powers, authorities, and responsibilities delegated to it by the Board in its Charter.
Participant Committee. The Participant Committee will be composed of Participants in the 2020 DSL CCAA. The members of the Committee may select one of the Participants to serve as the Committee Chair, the Administrator, the Administrator’s staff and/or Qualified Third-Party Contractors, and the chair of the Adaptive Management Committee will serve as resources to the Participant Committee. The Participant Committee Chair and/or Participants will schedule and set agendas for semiannual meetings of the committee. The Participant Committee will review the administration of the 2020 DSL CCAA and implementation issues that affect Participants. If the Committee identifies potential changes related to the implementation of the 2020 DSL CCAA, it will make recommendations to the Administrator, and, as appropriate, the Adaptive Management Committee. The Participant Committee will elect two representatives to serve on the Adaptive Management Committee. Specific actions that the Participants may take include, but are not limited to: • Making recommendations on any proposed changes to the Conservation Measures that are contained within the 2020 DSL CCAA or CIs; • Making recommendations to the Administrator regarding High Priority Areas of DSL Habitat for acquiring Conservation Easements and other protections and implementing Conservation Actions; • Making recommendations with regard to the Participants’ documentation of compliance with Conservation Measures; • Making recommendations on the 2020 DSL CCAA fee structure, enrollment process, or other administrative process or implementation issues related to the Participants’ responsibilities under the CCAA and CIs; • Making non-binding recommendations to the Administrator on appointing/replacing representatives on the Adaptive Management Committee; • Developing, reviewing, and making recommendations on Conservation Actions; and, • Reviewing recommendations from the Adaptive Management Committee and providing input to the Administrator. It is anticipated that the Participant Committee may need input from specialized scientific and technical resources when making recommendations on specific issues. As such, the Committee may request that Administrator obtain assistance for the Committee from scientific and technical experts that are experienced with the DSL or related species or at- risk species conservation and management.
