PATENTS AND ROYALTIES. G.1. If Proposer or either of the Participants elects to apply for letters patent on any Product developed in whole or in part from performance of Foundation-supported activity, such applicant shall, at its own expense apply in the United States and in Israel, and in such other countries and at such times as the Proposer or either of the Participants may deem appropriate. The Foundation will consider providing certain funding for the patent registration costs in accordance with the regulations as set out in the BIRD Foundation Procedures Handbook, as may be amended from time to time.
