PATENTS AND ROYALTIES. If any design, device, material or process covered by letters, patent or copyright is used by the contractor, they shall provide for such use by legal agreement with the owner of the patent or a duly authorized license of such owner, and shall save harmless the owner from any and all loss or expense on account thereof, including its use by the owner.
