Common use of Pay for Working Holidays Clause in Contracts

Pay for Working Holidays. If a statutory or declared holiday falls on an employee's regular working period and is worked, the employee shall be paid at two times (2X) the hourly rate of pay, as covered by this agreement, for each hour worked in addition to the employee's normal pay for the day.
