Pay Period. The Joint Area Committee or the National Grievance Committee and the Employer may, by mutual agreement, waive the provisions of Local Supplements dealing with pay periods upon a satisfactory showing of necessity by the Employer, provided such waiver is not a violation of a state or federal law or regulation.
