Common use of Payment of Notes Called for Redemption Clause in Contracts

Payment of Notes Called for Redemption. (a) If any Notice of Redemption has been given in respect of all or any part of the Notes in accordance with Section 16.02, the Notes so subject to redemption shall become due and payable on the Redemption Date at the place or places stated in the Notice of Redemption and at the applicable Redemption Price. On presentation and surrender of the Notes to be redeemed at the place or places stated in the Notice of Redemption, such Notes shall be paid and redeemed by the Company at the applicable Redemption Price. Upon surrender of a Note that is to be redeemed in part pursuant to Section 16.01, the Company shall execute and the Trustee shall authenticate and deliver to the Holder a new Note in an authorized denomination equal in principal amount to the unredeemed portion of the Note surrendered.
