Common use of Payments for Services Clause in Contracts

Payments for Services. 7.1. The Ordering Agency shall effect payment of all bills for Services rendered under this Areawide Contract in accordance with the currently effective payment terms of Contractor's Tariffs, Contractor’s Terms and Conditions and any other payment terms and conditions set forth in an Authorization. 7.2. The Ordering Agency will make invoice payments for Services not subject to the direct oversight or approval of the Commission in accordance with the provisions of the FAR 52.232-25. The interest rate for late or under payments made pursuant to this clause shall be computed in accordance with the Office of Management and Budget prompt payment regulations at 5 CFR part 1315. 7.3. Payments hereunder shall not normally be made in advance of services rendered in accordance with FAR 32.4, unless required by the Contractor’s Tariffs or Contractor’s Terms and Conditions as approved by the Commission. The applicability of this provision is generally limited to Connection Charge and line extension payments specifically cited and provided for in the Contractor's Tariff.
