Common use of Payments on account Clause in Contracts

Payments on account. If you so request, we will, subject to our prior consent which consent will not be unreasonably withheld, make payments to you monthly on account during the indemnity period, provided always that: a) the aggregate amount of such payments shall not exceed the sum insured under the item for which the claim is being paid hereunder, and b) if the total adjusted loss under this section differs from the quantum of the payments made under this clause then we and you mutually agree to pay or return the difference accordingly.
