Common use of Personal Business Clause in Contracts

Personal Business. At the discretion of the Superintendent, a Unit Member may be granted limited leave, not to exceed five (5) days, for personal business. Applications for this leave shall be submitted, in writing, to the Superintendent’s office, sufficiently in advance of the intended leave, for action to be taken on the request prior to the date of the intended leave. A Unit Member will receive his/her full salary and reimburse the District for the full cost (salary plus driven costs) of the substitute.
