Common use of Personal Business Clause in Contracts

Personal Business. 1. All employees shall be entitled to a maximum of three (3) personal business days per year in addition to the allotment of sick leave to take care of personal business which cannot otherwise be conducted outside of the normal working hours and provided that the use of said days has prior administrative approval and the employee has filled out the necessary form. 2. In cases of emergency, the employee must contact an administrator who has the authority to grant such leave. 3. Days not used may be accumulated as sick leave days. 4. Upon approval of the Superintendent, one or more accumulated sick days may be made available to the employee as personal business time.
