Common use of Personal Property / Clothing Clause in Contracts

Personal Property / Clothing. The Employer shall replace any clothing (with clothing of equivalent value) where such clothing is damaged while performing work for the Employer provided that (i) such clothing is required to be worn or provided by the employee; and (ii) the damage did not arise as a result of the employee's negligence; and (iii) the damage has been reported by the employee to his/her supervisor as soon as possible and in any event prior to the end of the shift on which it occurred.
