Common use of Personnel Protective Equipment Clause in Contracts

Personnel Protective Equipment. The Service Provider shall provide all his/her workers with all necessary protective clothing for use at all times which facilitates their work and limits their direct contact with the sewage debris/silt material and shall ensure that, at least, the following list of personnel protective equipment is in general use:  Safety harnesses for working in confined spaces.  Breathing apparatus for toxic gases and oxygen-deficient areas.  Hard hats where required  Gas detectors  Gloves for cut resistance.  Earmuffs or earplugs for noise from machines.  Overalls for body protection  Safety shoes/boots with steel toe caps for foot protection.  Waders and waterproof jackets.  Reflective vests The Contractor shall ensure that all workers are issued with the necessary personal protective clothing in line with Covid-19.
