Common use of Photocopies Clause in Contracts

If an image or photocopy of a check or other item that appears to be drawn on your account is presented to us for payment in place of the original, we may pay the item if it is accompanied by a representation from another financial institution that the original item has been lost or destroyed. We will not incur any liability in the event the original item is later presented to and paid by us, unless a stop payment order is in effect for the check.
