Photometric measurements. 3.1.2.1. Photometric measurements shall be carried out on the samples before and after the test. 3.1.2.2. These measurements shall be made after photometric stability (as defined in UN Regulation No. 48) using a standard (étalon) light source, or with the light source(s) and/or light source module(s) as present in the road illumination device, at the following points: (a) In the case of AFS, passing-beam of classes C and V and of driving- beam of classes A and B: - B50L and 50R for the passing-beam (B50R and 50L in the case of headlamps intended for left-hand traffic); - Imax for the driving-beam. (b) In the case of classes BS, CS and DS: - B50, 50L and 50R for Class BS headlamp, 0.86°D/3.5°R, 0.86°D/3.5°L, 0.50°U/1.5°L and 0.50°U/1.5°R for Class CS and DS headlamps for the passing-beam or a passing/driving lamp; - Imax for the driving-beam of a driving lamp or a passing/driving lamp; (c) In the case of front fog lamps: - intersection V-V line with line 6 and - intersection V-V line with line 4. 3.1.2.3. Results The variation between the photometric values measured on each sample before and after the test shall not exceed 10 per cent including the tolerances of the photometric procedure.

(b) In the case of AFS: - B50L and 50V for the Class C passing-beam lighting; - Imax for the driving-beam of a system (c) In the case of classes BS, CS CS, DS and DSES: - B50B 50, 50L and 50R for Class BS headlamp, 0.86°D/3.5°R0.86D/3.5R, 0.86°D/3.5°L0.86D/3.5L, 0.50°U/1.5°L 0.50U/1.5L and 0.50°U/1.5°R 1.5R for Class CS CS, DS and DS ES headlamps for the passing-passing beam or a passing/driving lamp; - Imax for the driving-driving beam of a driving lamp or a passing/driving lamp; (cd) In the case of front fog lamps: - intersection V-V VV line with line 6 and - intersection V-V VV line with line 4. 3.1.2.3.
