Common use of Photovoltaic Panels Clause in Contracts

Photovoltaic Panels. This paragraph will apply if the property has been fitted with Photovoltaic panels or is fitted with Photovoltaic panels, or similar, in the future: •The electricity generated by the Photovoltaic panels has been connected to your electricity supply and can be used by you free of charge. Electricity not used by you will be fed into the national grid; •The Photovoltaic panels and installation will be owned either by the Council or an external funding organisation. All income generated by the Photovoltaic panel installation will be paid to the Photovoltaic panel owner and no payment will be made to you; •You must not tamper with any of the electrical components or the Photovoltaic panels; •You must allow authorised people access to maintain and repair the PV installation at no charge to you; •If your property is fitted with a key meter you must keep the meter in a credit position to be able to receive the free electricity; •If you purchase your property under the Right to Buy legislation the Photovoltaic panels will remain in the ownership of the Council or an external funding organization; •You must also comply with the terms of the agreement between you and Bournemouth Borough Council for the installation of a solar panel Photovoltaic system.
