Common use of Police Training Supervisor Clause in Contracts

Police Training Supervisor. For the period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, any Sergeant who is assigned by the Chief of Police to be a training officer for a new Sergeant or acting as a PTO/PTS Sergeant for a shift shall receive assignment pay in the amount of ten percent (10%) of their base wage for the pay period. Effective July 1, 2017, a Sergeant acting as a PTO/PTS Sergeant for a shift shall receive assignment pay in the amount of five percent (5%) of their base wage for the pay period. No Sergeant receiving special assignment pay shall be eligible for training supervisor pay. This five percent (5%) reduction is in exchange for a five percent (5%) step increase.
