Together the Policy Wording and the Schedule of Insurance issued to you by us, along with any relevant Medical Screening Declaration or Letters of Acceptance, form the Contract of Insurance that you have purchased.

The terms, conditions and exclusions that appear in the Policy or in any Endorsement are part of the contract and must be complied with. Failure to comply may result in the claim being denied.

14.2 To achieve the minimum limits for any type of insurance required under this Appendix C, it is permissible to arrange the insurance under a single policy, or by a combination of primary, umbrella and/or excess policies.

This means that this Plan will pay benefits only for expenses incurred while the coverage is in force. Except as specifically set forth in this ARTICLE XVIII or Exhibit 18.1, all policies of insurance maintained by Contractor and Owner respectively shall be written on reasonable and customary terms, conditions and exclusions for projects of similar size and scope. The coverages referred to in this ARTICLE XVIII and Exhibit 18.1 are set forth in full in the respective policy forms, and the descriptions of such policies in this Agreement and Exhibit 18.1 are summaries and not intended to be complete.
