Positions to be Filled. When a position has been designated for a retraining candidate, that position shall be "held open" for no more than six (6) months, unless extended by mutual agreement. Positions to be Filled. When a vacancy of a permanent or of a temporary nature expected to exceed ninety (90) calendar days occurs, or a new position is created, and is to be filled within the bargaining unit, the Employer shall post notice of the position on all bulletin boards within fourteen (14) calendar days of the vacancy occurring. The notice be posted a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days so that all members will know about the vacancy or new position. Every effort shall be made to fill the vacancy within thirty (30) calendar days of the closing date for the posting.
