Common use of Pre-Award Requirements and Documentation Clause in Contracts

Pre-Award Requirements and Documentation. The Municipality shall prepare and submit to the DOT a written determination of the Prime Contractor’s responsiveness and qualifications to perform the work, based on review and analysis of the bids received. The Municipality shall require the selected Prime Contractor to meet all applicable pre-award requirements and submit any required documentation to the Municipality, which the Municipality, in turn, shall submit to the DOT for review and approval, all in accordance with the Advertising Procedures for Construction Contracts Administered by Municipalities, unless otherwise directed by XXX in writing. The pre-award requirements include, but are not limited to: (a) Required documentation applicable to any assigned affirmative action goal; (b) A schedule of progress or time chart for the Construction Project developed by the Prime Contractor; (c) A complete statement of the origin and manufacturer of any manufactured materials to be used in the Construction Project provided on the DOT form “Anticipated Source of Materials (CON-83),” as revised; (d) A completed “State of Connecticut Certificate of Compliance with Connecticut General Statutes § 31-57b” form, as revised; (e) A completed Certificate of Insurance on the form(s) acceptable to the DOT; and (f) Any other documentation requested by the DOT or federal government as pre- award requirements.
