Preliminary Analysis Sample Clauses

Preliminary Analysis. Pathnet shall complete a detailed analysis of the existing microwave system operated by Incumbent along each Segment set forth in Schedule B and upon completion of such analysis shall deliver the results of such analysis to Incumbent. Such analysis shall include: (a) an inventory and survey of Incumbent's existing microwave sites and supporting facilities (the "Existing System Inventory"); (b) microwave path studies and reliability analysis to provide performance data to serve as the engineering basis for the design of the System (the "Path Studies"); (c) a preliminary evaluation of the probability of successfully coordinating frequencies on the System (the "Frequency Availability Model"); (d) a determination of whether structural analysis of towers and loading factors (for metal towers only) is required and, in the event such structural analysis is required, the analysis of Incumbent's towers, including, but not limited to, the wind loading and weight requirements for the proposed antenna systems as well as any feedlines necessary to support the such antenna systems (the "Tower Analysis"); (e) the design of the System (the "System Design") which System Design conforms with the terms and conditions of Section 3 of this Schedule A; (f) a detailed line item budget for the System (the "System Budget"); (g) a proposed T-1 plan for channelization of the System the ("Channel Plan"); and (h) a preliminary construction management schedule for each replacement Segment (the "Preliminary Construction Schedule").

Preliminary Analysis. Except under extraordinary circumstances, within thirty (30) calendar days of its receipt of a complete and accurate Request, indicating whether or not CenturyLink will approve or deny the Request (“Preliminary Analysis”). If If CenturyLink denies **CLEC’s Request, the Preliminary Analysis will provide the reason(s) for such denial (e.g., the requested access, arrangement or service is not technically feasible; CenturyLink is not required to provided the requested access, arrangement or service under Applicable Law; facilities necessary to provide the requested access, arrangement or service are not Currently Available, etc.).
Preliminary Analysis. The contractor shall perform a detailed, preliminary analysis and quantification of each assigned candidate precursor from Task 1 to identify those that meet the ASP Program criteria as precursors. Preliminary analysis and quantification is estimated to be performed on 25 candidate precursors. The agency will notify the contractor in writing or email when a preliminary analysis and quantification are to be performed on a specified event. The contractor will perform an event quantification that uses the NRC's SAPHIRE-based, standardized, plant- specific models developed for this effort. Quantification of accident sequence precursor significance involves determination of the conditional probability of severe core damage given the failures or conditions occurring during an event. Reviewer Experience: The reviewer(s) for this task shall have expert knowledge and experience in the following areas: - Nuclear power plant system design, performance, and operation - Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA), including familiarity with and access to published PRAs and individual plant examinations (IPEs) - Application of PRA techniques to assess operational experience - Construction and review of system fault trees and event trees - PRA computer codes (e.g., IRRAS, SAPHIRE) Analysis Criteria: The analysis is intended to identify those events considered to be precursors to potential severe core damage accidents, either because of the initiating event, or because of failures that could have affected the course of postulated off-normal events or accidents. The sources of information for these detailed analyses are not limited to the event reports furnished by the agency, (usually LERs), but also include: 1) the plant's final or updated safety analysis reports (FSARs or USARs) and their amendments, and 2) individual plant examinations (IPEs), and 3) other information related to the event of interest. The detailed analysis of each event considers the immediate impact of an initiating event or the potential impact of the equipment failures or operator errors on the readiness of systems in the plant for mitigation of off-normal and accident conditions. In the review of each selected event, three general scenarios (involving both the actual event and postulated additional failures) are considered. 1) If the event or failute was immediately detectable and occurred while the plant was at power, then the event is analyzed according to the likelihood that it and the ensuing plant res...

Preliminary Analysis. Of the 16 PAHs measured in the water samples, only 7 appeared consistently in at least 4 sites. The PAHs, BAA, BAP, BKF, BBF, PYR, CHR & FLU were chosen as the compounds of focus for the statistical analysis. The percent recovery for PYR from site O6 was 88%, 84% from site O5, and 93.95% for BBF. Total PAHs concentration ranged from 0.0026 – 0.2043 (mg/L), while human carcinogenic PAHs (BAP, BBF, BKF, BAA, and CHR) ranged from 0.001 – 0.133 (mg/L). The sampling site S6 had the highest total PAHs concentration, while S3 had the lowest concentration [Table 1]. Since the average concentrations of BAP, BKF, BBF, & PYR were statistically significant at the 95% confidence level, we reject the null of hypothesis 3 for these compounds. Therefore average concentrations of the 4 PAHs are significantly higher than the USEPA MCL [Table 2]. Preliminary Analysis. Prior to presenting a detailed statistical model, I first would like to show some model free evidence that illustrates key patterns in the data. In particular, I am interested in the relationships between playing, earning rewards and purchasing. The goal is to understand how purchasing decisions and reward structures influence player’s decisions to continue to consume the game. The statistics presented in this section come from the random sample of 2,518 players. On the play side, on average players in the sample play 0.91 game sessions daily. Figure 2 presents the evolution of average number of game sessions played daily over time. On the first several days after registration players are likely to engage in multiple game sessions and this number quickly drops to less than 1 game session and remain relatively steady through time. On the purchase side, the character pack was purchased by 6.87% of players. This pay ratio is relatively high compared to the industry average of 4.02% for North America and 2.43% for Europe (DeltaDNA 2018). The relatively low conversion from free players to pay players in the FTP industry highlights the importance of understanding consumer consumption behavior. Figure 3 shows the timing of character pack purchases. Interestingly, the majority of character pack purchases occur early in the consumer lifecycle. Most of the purchases happen within the first month with the highest purchase intention during the first week, and purchase rates decrease over time. An important observation is that players’ decisions to invest in the game tend to occur relatively quickly. In order to understand the relationship between play and purchase by players, I calculated the average number of game sessions played for the group of player day combinations without the character pack and the group of player day combinations with the character pack purchased (see Table 4). For free users, on average .67 game sessions are played while the number for pack owners is 1.82. At a minimum there is a correlation between purchase and participation. 01). It looks like players who choose to invest are the ones who like the game better (they play more before their purchases comparing to other players), however, I still see a boost in play for those players after they commit.
Preliminary Analysis. All costs associated with Phase 1 are included in the Guaranteed Maximum Price for Phase 2 and will be absorbed into final Phase 2 pricing. If Customer chooses not to move forward to Phase 2 the Customer has no financial obligation to JCI.
Preliminary Analysis. What: In order to increase the speed with which time sensitive SFE Survey data can be reported to the appropriate persons, certain data points should be cleaned and inserted into an Excel or Google spreadsheet as the data is received. Preliminary data in the spreadsheet, which will be titled the SFE Information Table (see Task 17), should include the following data points in columns
