Preliminary Informal Procedure. An employee may orally present and discuss a grievance with his/her immediate supervisor on an informal basis. A verbal disposition of the grievance shall be given to the grievant within five (5) business days. The employee has the option of having a Shop Xxxxxxx present for the discussion. However, the Union shall not be bound by any informal settlement between the employee and his/her supervisor.
