Principle of Security. The Board and the Association agree that increased length of service in the employment of the Board entitles all employees covered by this Agreement to commensurate increase in security of teaching employment, provided that they possess the qualifications necessary for the positions available.
Principle of Security a. The Board and the Union agree that increased length of service in the employment of the Board entitles teachers to commensurate increase in security of teaching employment.
Principle of Security. For the purpose of this Article, the Employer and the Local recognize that increased length of professional employment with the Employer entitles employees who possess the necessary qualifications to increased security of teaching employment.
Principle of Security. 1. The Board and the Association agree that security of employment increases in proportion to length of service in the employ of the Board for teachers who possess the necessary qualifications for positions which are available.

The Employer and the Local agree that increased length of service in the employment of the Employer entitles all employees covered by this agreement to commensurate increase in security of employment provided the employee possesses the necessary qualifications for positions which are available.
b. This Article applies only to employees on a continuing appointment.
Principle of Security. The Board and the Union agree that teachers with greater seniority, providing they possess the necessary qualifications, are entitled to increased security of teaching employment.
Principle of Security a. The Board and the Union agree in principle that seniority of service in the employment of the Board entitles employees to a commensurate increase in security of employment.
b. This Article applies to all employees on continuing contract as provided under the School Act including those on authorized leaves of absence and those otherwise specified.
c. Employees who have been assigned as Principals, Vice-Principals, District Principals or appointed as officials of the Board, who are reassigned to positions covered by this Agreement shall be placed on the seniority list in accordance with the provisions of this Article and Section 21 of the School Act.
