Procedures for Individual Request. A teacher should submit an application form to the Head Teacher using the appropriate form for teachers (appendix 2), setting out the reason why the request is being made and how it is compatible with the needs of the service. The pattern requested will normally be one of the core flexible working arrangements. • Applications must contain a date where it is proposed that the revised working pattern may become effective. This date must be at least 12 weeks in advance of the date the application is submitted to allow sufficient time for the application to be considered and, if agreed, for arrangements to be put in place in terms of implementation. • The Head Teacher, on receipt of an application to work flexibly, will initially ensure that the applicant is eligible. Thereafter, a meeting will be arranged with the eligible teacher concerned, and his/her trade union representative, if they so wish, within 28 days of receiving the application. • Should more than one application be received at the same time priority will be given to anyone covered directly by the Equality Act 2010. • A similar process is followed for a Career Break or Sabbatical Application, guidance for this can be found on SNCT and the application form for this is attached (Appendix 3)

Gov’t Code § 2274.001(3) of SB 19.

  • Certification of claims by Statutory Auditors Any claim or document provided by the Concessionaire to the Authority in connection with or relating to receipts, income, payments, costs, expenses, accounts or audit, and any matter incidental thereto shall be valid and effective only if certified by its Statutory Auditors.   • Procedure for Indemnification After receipt by an indemnified party under Section 11.1, Section 11.2, Section 11.3 or Section 11.4 of notice of the commencement of any action, such indemnified party shall, if a claim in respect thereof is to be made against an indemnifying party under such Section, give written notice to the indemnifying party of the commencement thereof. If the action is asserted against both the indemnifying party and the indemnified party and (i) there is a conflict of interests which renders it inappropriate for the same counsel to represent both the indemnifying party and the indemnified party or (ii) such action could reasonably be expected to result in the imposition of criminal liability, the indemnifying party shall be responsible for paying for separate counsel for the indemnified party; provided, however, that if there is more than one indemnified party and it is practical for all such parties to be represented by common counsel, the indemnifying party shall not be responsible for paying for more than one separate firm of attorneys to represent the indemnified parties, regardless of the number of indemnified parties. If the indemnifying party elects to assume the defense of such action, (a) no compromise or settlement thereof may be effected by the indemnifying party without the indemnified party’s written consent (which shall not be unreasonably withheld) unless the sole relief provided is monetary damages that are paid in full by the indemnifying party and (b) the indemnifying party shall have no liability with respect to any compromise or settlement thereof effected without its written consent (which shall not be unreasonably withheld) unless the indemnifying party has failed to defend such indemnified party against such action. If this Section 11.5 conflicts with the contest provisions in Section 8.7 with respect to any contest or claim relating to taxes, Section 8.7 shall govern.
