Professional Transfer. In the best interest of the teacher(s), either the District or the Association may request either the transfer of a teacher to an existing vacancy before it is posted or the exchange of teachers in two positions. Prior to the transfer being made, consent must be given by the District and the Association and the teacher(s) involved. It is understood that said transfer may not in any way be construed as a disciplinary action. The resulting vacancy (if any) will then be posted, if the vacancy occurs between the opening day of school and April 1. Decisions made as a result of this section are non-grievable.
