Program Closures and Reductions in Resident Complement. If a program has reason to close and/or reduce the number of fellows, it must follow the procedures specified in Section IV of the ACGME Institutional Requirements, as amended from time to time, or any successor requirements. The program must notify the NRMP of the method it will employ to assist each matched applicant in securing another graduate medical education position.
