Common use of Progression on Scale-Administrative Assistants Clause in Contracts

Progression on Scale-Administrative Assistants. All employees in the bargaining unit will progress to the next step on the scale until maximum salary is reached, on the first of the month following the completion of one (1) year of service since last increment date. For the purpose of this appendix, one (1) year is defined as the full-time equivalent of ten (10) months of actual paid service. Increment increases that are due shall be delayed by one (1) month for each instance where a person works no hours in a calendar month due to an unpaid authorized leave of absence.
