Common use of Project Schedule Clause in Contracts

Project Schedule. The Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date of Closing. Such requests for extension must specify the reasons for delay and the date such acquisition will close. The Director will review such requests for extension and may, at the Director's sole discretion, extend the date of Closing. Any site improvement or other work on a Project shall be commenced within thirty (30) days of the date set forth in Appendix A, Page 2 for the start of site improvements, or this Agreement may become null and void at the sole option of the Director. However, the Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date to initiate such site improvements or other work. The Recipient shall specify the reasons for the delay in commencement and provide the Director with any new start date of construction. The Director will review such requests for extensions and may extend the start date.
