Common use of Provincial Association Dues Clause in Contracts

Provincial Association Dues. The Board shall deduct from the pay of each Teacher who is within the scope of this agreement the fees established by the Association. The Association shall advise the Board in writing of the amount of the fees authorized by the Association membership in keeping with the Constitution and By-laws of the Association. The Board shall remit the total amount so deducted to the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association within thirty (30) calendar days of collection. The Board shall deduct the equivalent of 1.55% of salary for any individual that is not a member of the Association and used in emergency situations as a replacement for a teacher.
